Retirement planning requires savings and an understanding of your financial needs during your retirement period. This Planner allows you to accurately track your assets from present to the end of your retirement. Two versions are available. Both the BASIC and DETAIL versions will accurately track your assets until retirement and will handle your retirement income needs taking into consideration tax liabilities, government pensions and other available incomes. The DETAIL version provides added features such as the ability to track Savings and TFSA accounts as well as the possibility to save pension incomes received prior to retirement.

RETIREMENT PLANNER ENTRY VERSIONS
The planner/calculator is an Excel spreadsheet requiring Microsoft Excel to be loaded on your computer to run. The planer comes in two versions, Basic and Detailed. Both versions of the Retirement Planner comes in two entry formats - Direct Entry and Form Entry

 

For those who are comfortable working with Excel, the Direct Entry version is a one page form where all inputs and results as displayed. This allows the user to see the results and make the necessary adjustments, all in one place.

The Form Entry version is set up with a series of forms, one for each sections of the one page Excel form. In each section, the user is prompted for all inputs that will be in be transferred to the one-page master form. This method is more time consuming but is less intimidating for users not familiar with Excel.

This retirement planner has all the basic features and more with the flexibility to cover most real life financial situations.
