The basic versions of the retirement planer for Quebec and Ontario residences are available for download below. A Canada version is now available but unlike the Quebec and Ontario version where your income tax are calculated based on the respective provincial tax forms, the Canada version is based on the detail Quebec tax calculations adjusted to the province of residence you select. This adjustment is made by applying the tax ratio at the specific income levels, in relation to Quebec combined federal and provincial tax using the 2017 combined tax rates published at Taxtips.ca. While this method is not as accurate as performing a detail calculation by province, it is by far, more accurate than any retirement calculator out there as most do not calculate tax in detail let alone take into consideration the province of residence.
